Dutch Thermal Engineering (DTE), a VADO company since 2023, designs and manufactures customer-specific installations and solutions in the field of industrial temperature control. DTE has developed into a leading global supplier for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in various industries such as Food Manufacturing, Defence, Semicon, Mobile Battery Systems and Electrolysers and Hydrogen Distribution systems. DTE is well-positioned to provide customer-specific solutions requiring robust quality (stainless steel versions) and special customisation, and is equipped to produce these solutions in any size and desired volume.
‘Sustainability gets more and more attention’
Martin Bril, CEO of DTE, sees an increasing need for sustainability support among his customers. “Our customers are more and more asking us to help them with the increasing environmental requirements they have to meet. This is a strong development in the market we operate in. For example, we are now being asked to redesign our machines to use other types of environmentally friendly refrigerants. Our products are also used in systems that are instrumental in the energy transition (such as batteries and electrolysers). We work closely with each other in these projects, which provides significant added value for all parties.”
Comfort with customers
“Thanks to the acquisition by VADO, we have also seen many advantages on the customer side. Now we come to the table at the head offices and bring the story that we are part of the larger VADO and I just notice that, especially with the decision-makers, this offers a certain degree of reassurance. So that VADO ‘umbrella’, provides us the opportunity for further growth and that you are no longer seen as that smaller company,” says Martin Bril.
