The Verhoeven Family of Companies has strengthened its market position in bakery equipment, material handling and logistics through the acquisition of Van den Akker Electric Engineering. Van den Akker Electric Engineering is specialised in the development of fully integrated industrial automation using robotics and 3D Vision.

Eindhoven based investment company VADO Beheer has acquired the high-tech division of Mecal BV. Mecal High-tech Systems is a specialised company in engineering and product development in the semiconductor industry. Next to that, Mecal High-tech Systems produces its own platforms for vibration reduction platforms to enable production with extreme precision.

Fuel system specialist Diesel Büchli takes over Romotech from Papendrecht. Romotech is the Dutch importer/distributor of Lombardini / Kohler engines for marine and industrial applications. Diesel Büchli is a specialist in the field of diesel injection systems and supplies components such as fuel pumps, injectors and particulate filters and provides aftermarket services. With the purchase of Romotech, Diesel Büchli is expanding its product portfolio and can support its customers in a broader field.

Technical service provider VDK Groep from IJsselmuiden announced its plans to take over installation company Klein Poelhuis. Both companies are active in installation technology and are situated in the northeast of the Netherlands. Klein Poelhuis is a VADO Beheer company since 1997 and has offices in Winterswijk, Hengelo and Emmeloord. The company saw strong development in recent years and now generates a turnover of 45 million euros.

Lacom Cranes & Services BV from Budel has taken over the majority of the assets and activities of Kluitmans and TCE (branches Budel and Lichtenvoorde). The expertise of these former employees of Kluitmans and TCE together with the many years of production experience of Lacom ensures that a strong player is created in the field of production, sales, repair and overhaul work on trailers, truck-mounted cranes and accessories.

VADO has taken over BKL from Nuenen. BKL is a specialised technical service provider in the field of engineering and manufacturing of hoisting and lifting equipment for high-tech companies, in particular for the optical and semiconductor industries. As the activities of BKL and ANVIL fit well together, BKL will be added to ANVIL Industries. The combination of BKL’s engineering and project management capabilities with ANVIL’s production capabilities enables us to serve clients even better and creates ample opportunities for further growth for both companies.
